HOW TO BID
To place online bids both before and during the auction it is necessary to register in the specific section of the menu dedicated to AUCTIONS by selecting the button SIGN UP. Online registration requires filling out a form indicating your Name, Surname, Email and Password.
Once registration is completed, you must follow the instructions in the automatic email sent by the system and log in with your Username and Password. When logging in you must complete your personal profile in the "profile" section by specifying address and telephone number while in the "documents" section you must upload a scan or photograph of your document or alternatively proceed with sending it to by email.
Studio d'Arte Borromeo staff will check that every field is correctly filled in your account and will proceed with the activation.
For each Auction, for the first time, it is necessary to request participation (Register for the Auction) and once you have accepted the conditions of sale (two ticks and a confirmation at the bottom of the page) your account will be automatically enabled to bid online both during the Auction and during the Pre-Auction period. We remind you that between the Pre-auction period and the start of the Auction there will always be a 30 minute wait in which it will not be possible to enter bids but at the same time it will give you the opportunity to open the live Auction panel and check that everything is working correctly
TELEPHONE AND ABSENTEE BIDS
In order to place Telephone Bids it's mandatory to fill the form: “BID FORM”. Every part of the form should be filled: personal data, lot number and maximum bid. Only bids equal or higher than the starting price will be taken into consideration. The form “BID FORM” must be possibly sent at least 24h before the auction via email at info@asteborromeo.com within a valid Identity Card or Passport copy, you can request to place your bids in the Online System updated in real time.
The completion and insertion of the request will be confirmed by a Studio d'Arte Borromeo employee through a specific communication
In order to make bids in our auctions, registration is mandatory before the auction starts. By registering for an auction, you accept the CONDITIONS OF SALE and entitles you to an identification number.
